SENTIRSE (TO FEEL) A SPANISH INSPIRED EVENING OF SONG
“Sentirse” is Spanish for "to feel." Passion, love and heartbreak are felt in music performed by contralto Jennifer Hines and baritone Jose Sacin. The intimate, theatrical portrayal of captivating and seductive Spanish, Broadway and operatic songs will be accompanied by Spanish guitar and piano.
A native of New York, Ms. Hines’ Long Island accent belies her gift, a dramatic contralto voice, the deepest, darkest, and heaviest of the female classical singing voices. True operatic contraltos are rare. Opera News praised Ms. Hines as having "...a voice so rich and colored that she easily steals any scenein which she appears."
Known for his expressive voice of “liquid gold and the stage presence of a lion” (DC Theatre Scene). Peruvian native Jose Sacín is considered one of the leading Baritones of South America.
“Sentirse” is staged by Palomino Entertainment Group and directed by Victoria Racimo.
